Weekend Snaps

After work Friday, I grabbed dinner and drinks with one of the best. Seriously, you can never go wrong with some mexican food. 

 I haven't spent this much time at the baseball park in years. It was nice to do a little reminiscing. I watched my nephew on Saturday  

 and Sunday headed to Tuscaloosa to cheer for the competition. 

 I don't mind cheering for Auburn when this guy is playing. War Eagle is still a little tough so we just stick to War Connor. 

Hope everyone had a great weekend. This week starts my super SUPER busy two weeks and I am so looking forward to it. Texas and a closing coming up!

We celebrated this handsome fella's THIRD birthday. Batman, of course.

 And a late night dinner and drinks with a best friend. She should stay here for forever. 

Then one little inspector can put a big fat detour on the cutest little house around and halt ALL plans of moving. Whatever will happen will happen. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. HAPPY MONDAY. 

2014 in a nutshell post

New Years in Atlanta came and went. Girls days are always grand, and all of Mrs. Meghan's parties were so much fun. Nashville for the bachelorette party was a BLAST, and celebrating my twenty seventh
birthday more than once made me realize just how lucky I am. A quick trip up north for my boyfriend's birthday, with a pit stop in Chicago (thanks fog) was just what we needed. I've celebrated a great friend's second child, and a childhood friend's beautiful wedding. Then we topped it off with the wedding of the year and things are only looking up. 2014 might just be the best year of them all...

A Hocus Pocus Halloween Party

On Friday, we had a Halloween party at our apartment. So many of our food ideas came from Pinterest.  Besides the decoration photos, I took ZERO pictures. I guess it was because we were having too much fun. 

We were the crew from Hocus Pocus! My hair only lasted for the first few pictures. After that, I was tired of messing with it. :) Don't you just love the loofah and Dove soap bar?

Girl's Night!

I'm clearly a terrible blogger. I don't have too much new going on, but things are pretty grand. I went out with my good friend Suzanne and made some new great friends too. We had an absolute blast! Oh, and in just a few short weeks, Suzanne and I are hopping on a plane to NEW YORK CITY! We are so excited. Any must dos while there?

Happy 25 Miss Meghan!

This past Friday was Meghan's birthday (the brother's girlfriend). I had to work but was still able to join in the festivities. We ate at FIVE, and it was DELICIOUS. I'm not sure where it is besides here, so if you are ever in Birmingham or Tuscaloosa...eat there. I think I tried a little bit of everything. We hit the town after that and had a blast. Happy Happy Birthday Miss Meghan! I am so glad I was able to share in your day.

• I know, I know... I broke out my favorite coral dress again, but I just had too.
• Today, we had a diapers and wipes shower for my sister and baby Reece.
• This was my first party to pull together, but I had lots of great help!
• We loaded up on everything purple, and the painting was done by a close family friend.
• Miss Meghan and I used the cricut for all the crafts.
• We found some great ideas online for the banners. 
• We had delicious sweet treats and lots of good food that everyone brought.
• Meghan and I made the cupcake toppers, but another family friend made the cupcakes. Here is her website. Everything she makes is so good, and such a reasonable price!
• We used paper straws at my friend Anna's baby shower, so I had to get some for today!
• She had such a good little turn out, and I am just so grateful to everyone who helped and who came.
