Nursing Nonsense :: Week Thirteen

Week thirteen has been a pretty fantastic week, especially today. The week started off with a test about nuero & burns, that would be critical care at it's finest. We also had some pretty nasty weather around here, but nothing too major. Tuesday, I DID NOT HAVE CLINICALS, and today we had our Dose Cal (short for dosage calculations) test. Say the doctor orders 4 grams of a medicine, but you only have 12mg/5ml on the floor. How much would you give? There are 7 questions on the test, so we can only miss 2! We have this test each semester and must pass with 2 tries in order to move to the next semester. Today, we had our last Dose Cal test, and we turned in our portfolio. Phew. Just two more things to check off that mile long list to be completed before May 9! However, the days are getting closer, I'm getting more anxious, and this ride is only getting faster. I'm hanging on for dear life!

The rest of the week, I will be joining the normal world, and just working. Maybe I will blog a little more.

Happy Wednesday!
