Weekend Snaps

We celebrated this handsome fella's THIRD birthday. Batman, of course.
 SISTERS.
My favorite family of FIVE. All Batman-ed out.
RA only smiled once it was presents time. She was the designated present holder.
Not everyone wanted to be in the spotlight.
And this one only stood still at the very end.
And a late night dinner and drinks with a best friend. She should stay here for forever.
Then one little inspector can put a big fat detour on the cutest little house around and halt ALL plans of moving. Whatever will happen will happen. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. HAPPY MONDAY.

Happy 25 Miss Meghan!

This past Friday was Meghan's birthday (the brother's girlfriend). I had to work but was still able to join in the festivities. We ate at FIVE, and it was DELICIOUS. I'm not sure where it is besides here, so if you are ever in Birmingham or Tuscaloosa...eat there. I think I tried a little bit of everything. We hit the town after that and had a blast. Happy Happy Birthday Miss Meghan! I am so glad I was able to share in your day.

This is about where I realized my camera was on the wrong setting. ;)

Tallulah & Pupcakes

Today is Tallulah's birthday. You know, my sweet little fluffy pup. She is now 5 years old. OMG. I love my little cuddle buddy and just don't know what I would do without her. I thought I would try a little something different for birthday. Thursday, she is getting a trip to the spa (much needed) and last night I made her some "pupcakes!"
I found the recipe on Pinterest

It started like this...
with a little of this
a splash of this
a few other ingredients, that turned into this...
I needed a few of these, and into the oven they went.
We waited
& out came these delish little pupcakes. They did actually smell pretty tasty.
See?
The frosting was peanut butter & plain yogurt! That was tasty. I did try it.
This morning I let Lu try one or two & she loved them!
Happy Birthday my little Lu! I love you.

A mermaid party

We had Ryleigh's birthday party this past Saturday.
We had balloons,
a mermaid birthday cake,
a birthday girl,
bubbles,
four candles to blow out,
birthday presents
and so much fun!
I am so thankful for my family! Ryleigh is one loved little girl.

Happy Birthday!

For some reason I have thought the 10th was on Friday. Well, no it is TODAY, as in Thursday. That means my sweet little three year old has turned four. I saw her yesterday and asked her when she became such a big girl. She is so smart, funny and sassy. Yesterday, after work we went to the mall for a quick trip. Of course, we rode the carousel, our most favorite pastime!

Ryleigh's very first time on a carousel. She didn't want to ride so I held her. Times sure have changed.

We rode that same brown horse last night, you can barely see it sneaking behind the white one.
 See.
And this was last year around her birthday. My sister and I took Ryleigh for a girl's day.
And this was last night. Her very last day as a three year old.
She is as goofy as ever.
Good bye three year old Ryleigh!
And hello to my most favorite four year old. I love you more and more every single day.
Happy Birthday sweet girl.

Some bunny has a birthday coming up...

Even Ryleigh can't believe she is turning 4! No really, my niece is turning four on THURSDAY and I just can't believe it.
When I got back from the beach, I helped her with her party invites. Just look at her, cutest little three year old I know.
Then I taught her a little bit about bugs. Too bad, this Aunt Sissy is terrified of most creepy crawly creatures. But this picture makes me happy. I'm so grateful to be an aunt to my niece and nephews and I can't wait to celebrate Saturday for the birthday girl!

Happy way late Birthday, Daddy!

My Dad's birthday was back in April. I won't say when, because I don't need everyone to know how late this post it. We celebrated at my brother and sister in law's house. We grilled out and had a great time. This day was actually my last day working on the floor, so excuse the tired look I am sporting.
The babies had so much fun swinging with Miss Meghan
I don't have a picture of this sweet boys parents, and this little guy didn't want his picture taken.
My sister & Daddy
My Aunt Lynn, Uncle Scott & me (my Dad's siblings)
Meghan & Daniel
I could never put into words the gratefulness I have for my Daddy.
Thank you for everything. I love you more than words.
I hope you had a wonderful birthday & many more to come.
