Weekend Snaps

After work Friday, I grabbed dinner and drinks with one of the best. Seriously, you can never go wrong with some mexican food. 

 I haven't spent this much time at the baseball park in years. It was nice to do a little reminiscing. I watched my nephew on Saturday  

 and Sunday headed to Tuscaloosa to cheer for the competition. 

 I don't mind cheering for Auburn when this guy is playing. War Eagle is still a little tough so we just stick to War Connor. 

Hope everyone had a great weekend. This week starts my super SUPER busy two weeks and I am so looking forward to it. Texas and a closing coming up! 

Shell's Bells

Friday, I met our sweet Michele to pick up my race packet. This was my very first race, and I couldn't be more proud to honor such a special person.

A few people did the 5k run, but most of us did the fun run (1 mile walk). Overall, we had about 35 team members, ranging from 3 months to 76 years young! I think Reece Anne was the youngest runner there! Michele is an inspiration to us all, and I couldn't think of anywhere I would rather be than by her side during this journey. We love you so so much!!

My Pinterest Creation

I made my first Pinterest creation last night. I always see some pretty delicious meals, so I wanted to give it a shot. It was the Cheddar Bacon Ranch Chicken pasta. I'm sure it wasn't the healthiest dinner on Pinterest but it looked tasty. I'm actually not too bad at following directions, but I made a huge mess in the process. I was going step by step and didn't prepare as well as I could have. That explains the lack of pictures. Ha. I must say I was fairly nervous because the sauce looked like breakfast gravy, but it turned out good! I was pretty proud of my final product. Check it out.

A pretty little baby shower

Saturday was kind of busy. I had a baby shower that morning and a wedding Saturday night. My pretty little twin friend Anna is expecting in early July. They are not finding out what they are having so we stuck to a gender neutral color theme. Her sister Kate planned her shower and I thought it turned out just beautiful. See for yourself.

Anna is just adorable pregnant. I can't wait for baby J to make his or her arrival.

A mermaid party

We had Ryleigh's birthday party this past Saturday.

and so much fun!

I am so thankful for my family! Ryleigh is one loved little girl.

On the rooftop

Also this past weekend we went to this snazzy rooftop bar, called Above. It sits atop The Redmont Hotel in downtown Birmingham. It is always nice to catch up with great friends.

How is your 2012 so far? I am looking forward to what the new year will bring. Its going to be another good one.
